The U.S. Army awards the Design/Build of BRAC 132 Building 216 Renovations at Fort Belvoir, VA to QSSI.

The project is approximately 24,400 sf in total – it includes work on all three floors. On the first and second floors, it configures the space for 72 personnel in offices and work spaces as well as providing supporting spaces required for the Assistant Secretary of the Army Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA FM&C) operations – including conference, meeting, storage, and mail rooms, as well as other spaces. In the basement, the project configures existing systems furniture to maximize the use of the space and provides a communications/IT room that services the entire building.The project also includes modifications, repairs and improvements to various mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems required for the new space configuration.

The project involves the renovation of the existing 125,000 Square Foot Main Exchange building located at Fort Lee, VA. The work includes Selective Demolition, Concrete Repair, Concrete Polishing & Dye, Finishes, Specialties, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Alarm, and associated work.

D.C. Department of Real Estate Services awards the Fire Alarm Extension at DC General Family Shelter to QSSI.

The project is generally described as the Fire Alarm System Extension at DC General Family Shelter located at 1900 Massachusetts Avenue, SW, Washington, DC. 20003

City of Gaithersburg awards the CASEY COMMUNITY CENTER HVAC UPGRADE PROJECT PHASE II AND SPRINKLER UPGRADES project to QSSI.

This project Casey Community Center involves the installation of two 10-ton high efficiency split system Heat pump HVAC units, fabricate and install insulated duct work , registers and fresh air dampers to supply conditioned air into two large studio rooms, convert existing closet into mechanical room. Installation of sprinkler system to provide fire protection in interstitial spaces in approximately 15,000 sq. ft. two-story wood structure building, and installation of five initiation and notification fire alarm devices.

The U.S. ARMY awards QSSI the Building 258 Upgrade Housing Services Office project at Fort Belvoir, VA.

The work consists of renovating the interior space of Building 258, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The work shall include, but not limit to, the following: Remove existing partition wall panel dividers and replace with new stick-built wall; Remove and replace existing carpet flooring. New carpet shall match existing grade and texture; Paint all walls; Replace and install new ceiling tile; Replace all restroom fixtures to include, toilets, sinks, urinals, Vinyl floor tile, restroom stalls, grab bars, lighting fixtures, with energy efficient fixtures; Electrical and HVAC work; Install new doors for new office space, and Install a full glass door and aluminum frame.

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) awards the Construct New Shoppette/Gas Station/Burger King at Fort Belvoir, VA to QSSI.

The project consists of an approximately 7,200 square foot Class Six Shoppette. The Shoppette facility will include: retail space, Burger King dining room and kitchen; and support spaces such as restrooms, offices, coolers/freezers, receiving area and storage. Site amenities will include: multi-product fuel dispensers with two underground storage tanks and fuel island canopy; landscaping; parking and access drives; Burger King drive-thru; dumpster enclosure; receiving area canopy and monument sign.
