QSS International Inc. is proud to have received a letter of appreciation from Major Erik Tyler of the United States Marine Corps on February 20 2013 commending the design and build of the new outdoor concrete wash racks we installed for NAVFAC and U.S. Marines Corps at Quantico MCB.

QSSI is awarded the Install Concrete Wash Racks at OCS, MCB Quantico, VA by NAVFAC Quantico ROICC

On September 27 2012, The Quantico ROICC awarded the Install Concrete Wash Racks at OCS to QSS International Inc.

The work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Demolish 4 existing outdoor shower systems and replace with 3 new shower systems that have increased functionality and capacity. QSSI will replace (4) four outdoor shower units with (3) new units. (1) one unit 6 heads at the north end of B-5002, (1) one unit 8 heads at the East end of B-5001 and (1) unit with 18 heads between the south end of B-5002 and the west end of B-5001. Each unit to have properly sized sediment separator, units to be configured back to back shower heads, (18 head unit will be 9 heads back to back etc.)

U.S. Army awards QSS a Single Award Task Order (SATOC) IDIQ for Various Construction, Restoration, Upgrades, and Repairs at Fort George G. Meade, MD

On September 26 2012, The U.S. ARMY at Fort George G. Meade, MD awarded a Single Award Task Order (SATOC) IDIQ contract for Various Construction, Restoration, Upgrades, and Repairs to QSS International Inc.  The period of performance will be twelve (12) month Base year and Four (4) additional Option Years.

QSS International Inc will be required to perform a broad range of maintenance, construction, repair and alteration of various facilities, minor construction and real property renovation/alteration, remodel, and repair to include but not limited to the following: foundation and site work, concrete construction, masonry construction, metals, carpentry, thermal/moisture protection, earthwork, curtain walls, doors, windows, glass, finished materials, fencing, communications systems and wiring, elevators/conveying systems, mechanical/electrical, heating, ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC) and control systems, plumbing, fire protection, water/storm damage restoration, cleaning of equipment and surfaces contaminated by mold or mildew, removal and disposal of building components contaminated by mold or mildew, demolition and removal, roads/paving, roofing, painting, roadwork and storm drainage, welding, testing and abatement of hazardous materials, associated environmental compliance with Army, Local, State, and Federal Law, engineering services incident to the planning and performance of work under TO’s and other general construction work on real property at FGGM

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) awards the Cargo Buildings 1, 2, 3, and 4 – Life Safety Upgrades at Dulles Airport (IAD)

September 18th 2012, The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) awarded the Cargo Buildings 1, 2, 3, and 4 – Life Safety Upgrades at Washington International Dulles Airport (IAD).

The work shall include, but not be limited to the following: replacing/adding of sprinkler heads, emergency lighting, exit signs, smoke/heat detectors, adding/relocating fire alarm manual pull stations and installing new fire alarm signaling devices.

National Park Services awards QSS the Installation of Fire Protection System in Henry Hill Visitor Center, Manassas National Battlefield in Manassas VA

On August 22nd 2012, The National Park Service of the National Capital Region awarded the Installation of Fire Protection System in Henry Hill Visitor Center, Manassas National Battlefield in Manassas VA to QSS International Inc.

The work of this contract includes, but is not limited to the following work: Removing conventional (zoned) fire alarm system (panel and appliances), installation of new fire alarm system, providing complete automatic sprinkler protection, expanding dry pipe sprinkler systems. Installing Dry pendent sprinklers. Modifying and expanding the existing sprinkler valve manifolds and providing wet pipe valve assembly to serve sprinklers. Providing double interlocked preaction sprinkler systems. Providing new power circuits for fire alarm control panels, notification appliance booster panels and new air compressors.

QSSI is awarded the Building 1442 Renovation at Fort Belvoir by the U.S. ARMY

On July 31 2012, The U.S. ARMY MICC at Fort Belvoir, VA awarded the Building 1442 renovation to QSS International Inc.  Building 1442  is the home of the Department of Public Works (DPW) for Fort Belvoir DPW.

The work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Gut out the building and construct new walls, ceilings, floors, and utilities. Construct new elevator. Repair building structure, exterior brick walls, downspouts, parapets, and drainage system. Replace and upgrade all mechanical, plumbing, electrical, telecommunication and fire protection and alarm systems. Replace and upgrade roof, insulation, windows, doors and entrances. Replace and upgrade exterior utilities. Reconstruct walkway around the building, regrade for drainage, and provide landscape. Design/Build a new, complete, analog/addressable fire alarm and mass notification system.

QSSI recieves Letter of Commendation from Colonel Moffatt of the U.S. ARMY Deputy Garrison Commander

QSS International Inc. received a letter of appreciation / commendation from Colonel Moffatt of the U.S. ARMY Deputy Garrison Commander on April 10, 2012 appreciating the design/build renovation work we performed for the U.S. Army at Fort Belvoir for the Design/Build 216 Renovation for BRAC.
